Like last year, in cooperation with three city municipalities - Palilula, Zemun and Vracar, and organized by the Kultur Sok association, the eighth Great Easter Carnival will be held. The event will take place next weekend, 27th and 28th April and the entry for all visitors will be free!

The festival will be held, now traditionally in Tasmajdan Park, but also at three other great festival locations. They are the Zemun Quay (near Venecija), the plateau near the Kalenic market (corner of Kursulina and Krunska Street), as well as the promenade near Vizelj in Borca. A two-day festival with rich content will be organized at all four locations, and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a full-day program intended for the whole family. The working hours of the festival are from 11:00 to 19:00.

This year, the Great Easter Carnival will also be marked by numerous entertainment programs that will take place on the central festival stages, where music and dance performances will be alternating as well as children's shows and various performances. On the entire festival area, majorettes and street entertainers, mascots of favorite children's heroes as well as various all-day creative workshops will create the carnival atmosphere.

The event aims to promote family values and encourage the development of social responsibility among the youngest, therefore, in cooperation with all primary schools from the territory of the City Municipality of Palilula, as well as schools from the City Municipality of Vracar, this year a large socially responsible action was launched, in which children are involved. The little ones will compete again this year in "Egg decorating competition" and "Easter basket decorating competition". With this action, elementary students, now traditionally, help some of the socially disadvantaged students who need help.

The works of the elementary school students, who are the most creative, will be exhibited at the carnival itself, where visitors will have the opportunity to become the owners of a small work of art by making a donation and thus donate the entire event. The collected money will go to charity, to the fund to which the winner will allocate the funds.

In the spirit of the holidays, this year's carnival will also host an egg-tapping competition for which anyone interested can register on the spot, as well as a cute baby-crawling competition in which the fastest and most resourceful will win valuable prizes.
