Balkan Film Direction Festival
Second edition of the festival at two locations in the center of Belgrade
The Balkan Film Direction Festival 2026 will once again present its program through three festival selections - Balkan Awakening, Film Mystery, and Return to Genre. The competition includes works by directors of different generations - from debut films by emerging talents to works by experienced authors who continue to explore the boundaries of film form, language, and expression.
The founders of the festival are Darko Bajic, who also serves as the artistic director of the event, Uros Tomic (festival program director), and Darja Bajic (festival director).
