The author deals with the theme of transience, bodily duration, and the relationship with time through a multimedia dialogue of drawing, photography, video, and performance. Continuing a concept initiated in the same gallery space two decades ago, Branko Djukic returns to the motifs of personal memory, aging, and vitality, examining the boundaries of the body and identity through works created over the last ten years.
The central segment of the exhibition consists of video works and photographs in which the author repeats movements performed a decade ago, confronting his own body with the passage of time and the idea of resisting transience. At the same time, the exhibition functions as an intimate archive of the artist's personal archetypes, from early drawings and comics to traces of the continuity of handwriting and identity that endure despite time.
